This isn't a rumour but Dwayne De Rosario transfered from Houston Dynamo to Toronto FC for Julius James and 150k allocation money. Great deal by the reds!

Also the David Villa to Manchester City deal is progressing.

2008-09 Season summer transfers. Empty January Transfer Window..

Post by Razz Fri Dec 26 2008, 06:07

I think that we will see a host of clubs wheel and deal of the January window. However, no team needs to reshapen there side more than Arsenal i think. Several big names injured and really struggling for any momentum. I think that they need a good tall, muscly centre back, a defensive midfielder needs to be a high priority. (Id say yaya Toure would be a fine signing). a Right Midfielder, simply because we cant afford to rely on Walcott now because he is still young. Eboue needs to go, so does Bendtner. and in saying that.. A striker to replace bendtner would be great.. and no more hopeful buys.. some players who have proven themselves would be ideal.

Arsenal fans are beginning to get exited after news from the Emirates has noted that Barcelona midfielder Yay Toure has been at the clubs headquarters. He was seen to be having a good conversation with current arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood and although there have been no official words from the gunners or the player involved, it is apparent that the Ivorian is keen to link up with older brother Kolo in North London. :yippee:
